Check Your Shoes! NO CROCS!Students are working hard and getting stronger in physical education! Please remember that it is important for your child to wear gym shoes to participate safely in gym class. Gym shoes are shoes that are closed on the top, closed in the back, and have a rubber bottom. Boots, sandals, dress shoes, slippers, crocs, or heels are not appropriate for P.E. games and activities.
Also, please be aware that a lot of shoe companies are putting felt on the bottom of shoes. The felt is very slippery and hazardous on the gym floor! Please make sure shoes, laces, and fasteners are in good working order. Safe footwear leads to safe play. |
